We have developed a detailed set of criteria that we use to assess prospective hospitals and medical facilities for admission into our network. These criteria include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Medical outcomes (performance indicators), patient safety measures and patient satisfaction scores that rank the hospital in the top 25% of all hospitals in the country for specific surgical specialties. Aspects of this information are available through public web sites such as www.carechex.com.
- Healthcare facility accreditation through national agencies such as JCAHO or AAAHC.
- Independent hospital recognition such as Magnet status or Leapfrog Hospital Rewards.
- Participation in on-going quality assurance and patient satisfaction programs.
